Meet Fred

Picture
This is Fred. He lives with the lovely Ani (seen above) in their C&C cage. He isn't very talkative, but he's no scaredy pig either -- he knows what he wants, and he gets it. He's the first to go out and explore new things, and as a result has incurred a mysterious leg injury, the origin of which is still a mystery. We believe he's all fixed up now, but occasionally he starts up limping again. He's a big pig with a little bit of a waddle. He was acquired from Craig's List, from an uninterested owner who kept him alone, in too small of a cage, covered by a blanket all day. Thing have been on the up for him since he moved into his 2x4 C&C cage and met his girlfriend; even if they're apart for just a minute, Fred can be heard squeaking, waddling around his cage in search of his beloved girly-pig. Fred is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Ani

Picture
This is the lovely Ani (pronounced Annie, shortened from Anthea) -- she's a tad camera shy. She's the squeaker of the house, but she's also the scaredy pig. She loves to sit in her purple pigloo and squeak -- sometimes for food, sometimes for fun. She comes from the Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue and was acquired as a companion for the bored and lonely Fred. She has been battling an infected lymph node for about a year now, leaving a small, usually imperceptible lump under her chin. She was on antibiotics for about two months which reduced the lump's size, but she has to be carefully monitored in case it enlarges again. Ani keeps Fred in check during floor time, as she follows behind him in full "piggy train" fashion as they explore together in search of yummies. Ani is approximately 3 years old.

Meet the Gerbils

Picture
They may not be pigs, but they're just as much a part of the family. Freddy (the gray one) and Jason (the brown one) the gerbils were acquired less than a year ago, and their age is unknown. Their hobbies are chewing, more chewing, and eating sunflower seeds. I am currently working on a line of wooden houses made just for gerbils. These lucky guys are getting to test all the prototypes, and they're enjoying every minute of it. They enjoy running all over the apartment in their balls and keeping any sensitive documents well-shredded.

Meet Holly

Picture
That's me, I make everything you see on this site and on my Etsy page. I love guinea pigs and I love sewing, so this job is a dream come true for me. The guinea pigs approve as well, as they are the proud recipients of all the test products.

Meet Alex

Picture
Alex is my lovely boyfriend, who lives with me and keeps the gerbils well-supplied with paper and other shred-ables. He runs his own business selling guitar amps, so if any of you furry lovers love music as well, check him out here: (no link yet, sorry!)
